I’ve always known that there are developmental differences, cognitively, socially, and emotionally, between boys and girls. However, when I attended the Ruby Payne seminar back in January, I was surprised by the statistics and how the gap in academic achievement between boys and girls continues to widen. I obtained information regarding how we, as educators, can help boys be more successful in the classroom. I compiled this information into a Google Slides presentation to share on the district PD blog. It contains information regarding statistics and strategies to help boys be more successful in the classroom.
